Does Insurance Cover Hail Damage in QLD?

If you hold a comprehensive policy in Queensland, hail damage is almost certainly covered. Third-party-only policies do not cover hail. Here's how to make sure your claim is paid quickly and in full.
Check your PDS
Look for an 'act of nature' or 'storm' clause in your Product Disclosure Statement. Lodge your claim within the timeframe stated (usually 30 days) to avoid any reason for the insurer to push back.
